The 8 line ran on 54th St. from Crenshaw Blvd. to South Broadway and then north on South Broadway and Main Street. The northern terminal of the line varied over the years.
In the following photo a streetcar on the 8 line is heading south on Main Street at 9th. The track turning to the left is the N line on 9th Street. A "Red Car" on the Watts local line is in the distance on Main Street.
